Durmitor National Park - created from stone, water and myths.
Crno jezero is located about 3 km from Zabljak, at an altitude of 1418 meters. This glacial lake is the largest with an area of 0.515 square km, and certainly the most popular lake in Durmitor, and it is also the second largest lake in Montenegro.
Savin Kuk (2313m) is one of the most beautiful, recognizable and photographed, and of course the most visited peaks of Durmitor. Savin Kuk is part of the unsurpassed panorama over Black Lake (1416 m).
At the top is Obla Glava, one of the many peaks of Durmitor, and the Ice Cave (2160 m above sea level). From the entrance, a steep plane 40 m long, mostly covered with snow, reaches the ice-bound cave floor.
The beauty of the Durmitor massif is given a special boost by 18 glacial lakes, called GORSKE OCI, at heights above 1500 meters. The largest and most attractive is Black Lake.
